Mine Monero
on Your Own Machine

HexOverlord is a free, open-source XMR CPU miner you download and run yourself. Optimized RandomX performance, your wallet, your pool, your keys — no middleman, no hidden processes.

Runs on your own CPU and electricity while open. You bring your own Monero wallet and pool. It mines only when you start it — nothing hidden, nothing in the background. Returns depend on your hardware and aren’t guaranteed.

FAQ

Questions, answered

It's a desktop application that runs on your own computer. While open, it uses your CPU to solve Monero's RandomX proof-of-work and submits shares to a mining pool you choose. The pool pays your share of rewards directly to your Monero wallet. It only runs when you start it.

Possibly — many antivirus tools flag all miners (a category called "riskware"/"PUA") because miners are often bundled into malware by bad actors. HexOverlord is the opposite: it's open source, code-signed, and never hides or runs without your action. You can verify the checksum, read the source, or build it yourself. We do not provide any way to conceal it, and we don't condone running it on machines you don't own.

The software is free. The real cost is electricity and wear on your hardware — mining keeps your CPU near full load. Whether it's profitable depends on your CPU, your power price, and the XMR price. Always check current numbers with a mining calculator; returns are not guaranteed and can be negative.

Payouts come from your chosen mining pool, not from us — we never hold your funds. Each pool sets its own minimum payout (often around 0.1 XMR) and sends earnings straight to the wallet address you configure. Check your pool's dashboard for its exact schedule and threshold.
